[Photos] Arsenal handed huge double boost as injury doubts train ahead of Watford
Arsenal look to have been handed a double injury boost with Laurent Koscielny and Sead Kolasinac able to take part in full training this afternoon.
Koscielny was considered a doubt for tomorrow’s clash with Watford due to a niggling Achilles injury that kept him out of our two games prior to the recent international break.
Arsene Wenger confirmed at his press conference yesterday that the defender would be assessed on Friday to determine whether he’d be passed fit for the trip to Vicarage Road.
To add to our conerns, Kolasinac was also facing a late fitness test after the full-back picked up a minor hip problem while playing for Bosnia earlier this week.
However, it looks like we’ve been handed some welcome news as Koscielny and Kolasinac were both able to take part in full training today meaning they should be in contention to face Watford.
The news will be a huge boost to Wenger as we would have been down to the bare bones in defence if Koscielny and Kolasinac were ruled out as Shkodran Mustafi has joined Calum Chambers on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
The pair joined Mesut Ozil and Danny Welbeck on the pitches at London Colney with the attacking duo also set to return to the squad this weekend after recovering from injury.
