[Tweets] Walcott sends message to fans as Arsenal players react to beating Koln
Theo Walcott has sent a message to Arsenal fans as the players continue to react on social media following our 3-1 comeback win over Koln last night.
We had to come from behind after going a goal down early on following a poor clearance by David Ospina but a superb volley from Sead Kolasinac levelled things up shortly after half time.
Alexis Sanchez put us ahead with a stunner as he curled home in to the top corner from the edge of the area before Hector Bellerin poked home late on to secure a 3-1 victory which got our Europa League campaign off to a winning start.
It was a hectic night at the Emirates as kick off was delayed for an hour after 20,000 Koln supports descended on the stadium and caused safety concerns after somehow managing to secure tickets in the home end.
Walcott – who endured another game to forget – has now taken to Twitter to thank the Arsenal fans for their support under difficult circumstances.
Team mates Alex Iwobi, Bellerin, Shkodran Mustafi and Mesut Ozil have also taken to the microblogging platform to react to the win over Koln as we moved top of our Europa League group.
Check out what the boys have been saying:
Great support & thanks to all the fans last night after a long delay to kick off our #europaleague campaign. #COYG ?⚪️ #AFCvsCOL pic.twitter.com/mFumSHtvqq

The gunners lost 3-1 last time.Wenger has an appalling record against the top teams losing repeatedly and by big margin. It is not difficult
to fathom due to his predictable tactics.
No player is unplayable. Hazard was given too much space and time when he scored.
A better defensive minded manager would have planned for neutralizing such a dangerous striker. It remains to be seen whether
he can bring Arsenal to the next level.
