Arsenal have been handed some welcome injury news with four first team players able to take part in full training ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League opener with Leicester City.

Mesut Ozil was considered a major doubt as Arsene Wenger said at his press conference yesterday that the German international was still struggling with an ankle injury that kept him out of the Community Shield.

Midfielder Aaron Ramsey was also named as a doubt for tomorrow’s clash at the Emirates due to a calf problem that saw him miss the win over Chelsea last weekend.

Per Mertesacker was forced off at Wembley after suffering a nasty cut above his eye while Francis Coquelin has been out recently with an ankle injury and both were facing a race against time to take on Leicester.

However, we’ve been handed a major boost as all four players were able to take part in full training with the rest of the squad at London Colney this afternoon.

As long as they didn’t suffer any setbacks, then Ozil, Ramsey, Mertesacker and Coquelin should all be in contention for the game tomorrow night.

The news will be a relief to Wenger as he’s still going to be without Laurent Koscielny, Alexis Sanchez, Gabriel, Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere while Shkodran Mustafi is also not match fit.
