[Photos] Ozil & Sanchez help launch Arsenal’s new 2017/18 home kit

Arsenal officially revealed our new 2017/18 home kit at a launch event at Kings Cross station this morning with the help of Robert Pires and Martin Keown.

As is always the case every year, we’ve seen plenty of mock-ups and images leaked online in recent months so most of us had already seen what the new kit would look like.

However, the club officially unveilled the new home kit for next season in front of supporters and commuters in London today with legends Pires and Keown in attendance.

As you can see from the photos, we’ll once again be donning our traditional red with the latest kit sporting white across the shoulders and down the arms while there is some fancy markings along the shoulder line.

The shorts are white while the socks are a little different as they fade from red in to white. Overall, I think it’s a decent effort from Puma but it’s nothing special.

Perhaps the most exciting thing about today’s kit launch is that Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez feature heavily in the promotional material which could be a sign that the star duo will be staying at the club.

Both players are being linked with moves away this summer as we’ve yet to tie them down to new deals but Wenger has always insisted that they’ll be staying even if they don’t pen extensions.

I personally don’t believe that but perhaps the club are sending a statement by using the star duo in the promo material for the new kit.
