[Photos] Arsenal star misses training but duo return ahead of Boro

There was no sign of Danny Welbeck as London Colney today but Laurent Koscielny and Petr Cech are set to make their returns to the first team tomorrow.

Arsenal head north to Teeside to take on Middlesbrough on Monday night but it looks like Welbeck is a doubt for the game as he was forced to miss today’s final training session.

It’s not known precisely why Danny was absent but the striker is set to be assessed by club medics to see if he’ll be available for the trip to the Riverside.

However, there is better news on Koscielny as he continued to build his fitness today after returning to full training on Friday following an Achilles injury.

Cech was also out on the pitches at London Colney this afternoon after recovering from a calf strain that’s seen the goalkeeper miss the last three games.

Arsene said at his press conference on Friday that the pair would be assessed at training over the weekend but it looks as though they’ll be in contention to face Boro tomorrow night.
