[Video] Arsenal boss pushes official in tunnel following sending off
Arsene Wenger has been seen pushing fourth official Anthony Taylor in the tunnel after being sent to the stands during Arsenal’s 2-1 win over Burnley this afternoon.
The boss was incensed after the visitors were awarded a 93rd minute penalty and it looked as though we’d thrown away a huge two points after Andre Gray converted for 1-1.
Wenger was already raging after Granit Xhaka had been shown a straight red card for a lunge on Steven Defour which made a routine win turn in to a dramatic affair as we needed a last gasp Alexis Sanchez penalty to secure a 2-1 win.
Footage has now emerged showing Wenger arguing with the Anthony Taylor and the boss is seen shoving the forth official as he tried to instruct the Frenchman to move further up the tunnel.
Arsene has now appologised for his behaviour during his post-match press conference but that may not prevent the FA from getting in touch and taking action against the Arsenal boss.
Hopefully there won’t be any touchline ban but I’m sure the boss can expect at least a heavy fine for putting his hands on an official.
