[Photos] Arsenal players celebrate Bournemouth win on social media
Some of the Arsenal players have been posting celebratory messages and photos on social media after we eased to a 3-1 win over Bournemouth this afternoon.
Alexis Sanchez opened the scoring before the visitors were gifted an equaliser following a controversial penalty midway through the first half with Nacho Monreal adjudged to have fouled Callum Wilson [he didn’t].
However, Theo Walcott then headed us ahead in the 53rd minute before Sanchez wrapped up the three points with a late third to see us close in on leaders Chelsea to just three points while fifth-placed Tottenham are now four points adrift.
Walcott has now taken to Instagram to dedicate his goals to his sons Finley and Arlo – who was born on Friday – while some of the other players have also posted celebratory messages on social media sites.
Mohamed Elneny and Laurent Koscielny have uploaded photos to Instagram while Mesut Ozil, Shkodran Mustafi and Per Mertesacker have all posted messages to their followers on Twitter.
Check out what the players have been up to here:
