[Video] Cazorla recreates Thierry Henry’s stunning goal v Man Utd
Santi Cazorla has replicated Thierry Henry’s stunning goal that he scored during Arsenal’s 1-0 victory over Manchester United back in 2000.
We all know Henry is a living Arsenal legend and he scored some outstanding goals during his time in north London with his winner against United sixteen years ago right up there with the very best.
The French superstar was being tightly marked by Denis Irwin, but Henry received the ball with his back to goal, flicked it in the air, span on the spot and lashed home a stunning volley in to the top corner to give Fabian Barthez no chance.
As part of a series with BT Sport, current midfielder Santi Cazorla was tasked with trying to recreate Thierry’s brilliant effort on the training pitch with the 31-year-old given just four chances to pull it off.
Santi isn’t known for his stunning 25-yard volley’s but his technique is first class so it will surprise nobody that the Spanish magician was able to nail it in just two attempts.
