[Teams] New Arsenal signing starts for Switzerland vs Albania
Arsenal fans will get their first glimpse of Granit Xhaka in a competitive game as he starts for Switzerland in their Euro 2016 opener against Albania this afternoon.
Xhaka completed his move to the Emirates from Borussia Monchengladbach last month and we’ll now get to take a closer look at our latest signing when he faces Albania today.
The 23-year-old is line-up against his brother, Taulent Xhaka, who chose to play for their native Albania at international level.
Here are the line-ups:
Switzerland
Sommer, Lichtsteiner, Schär, Djourou, Rodriguez; Behrami, Xhaka, Shaqiri, Dzemaili, Mehmedi, Seferovic
Albania
Berisha; Hysaj, Cana, Mavraj, Agolli; Kukeli, Xhaka, Roshi, Abrashi, Lenjani; Sadiku.
Let’s hope Granit puts in an excellent performance and manages to come through the game injury free!
