[Video & Photos] Behind the scenes at Xhaka’s Arsenal photo-shoot

Arsenal finally confirmed the signing of Granit Xhaka earlier today with the midfielder arriving from Borussia Monchengladbach on a long-term contract.

We’ve been patiently waiting for the official announcement after the 23-year-old flew-in to England on Friday to undergo his medical at London Colney.

However, the club finally unveiled Xhaka as our first major signing of the summer on Arsenal.com this afternoon with the midfielder penning a long-term contract.

As usual, Arsenal haven’t disclosed the exact fee bu the Guardian claim we’ve paid an initial £25m, although this figure could rise with various additional add ons.

The Swiss international has expressed his delight on Instagram at joining Arsenal and he’ll now give us plenty of depth in midfield as he’ll compete with the likes of Coquelin, Ramsey, Wilshere, Cazorla and Elneny for a starting spot.
