Video: Hull 0-4 Arsenal: Giroud & Walcott book last 8 place
Arsenal eased in to the quarter finals of the FA Cup with a 4-0 victory over Hull City at the KC Stadium this evening.
As a very poor first half came to a close we were gifted the opening goal as Olivier Giroud pounced on David Meyler’s poor back-pass to sweep home from close range for 1-0.
We doubled our lead in the 71st minute when Giroud got his second of the game as he volleyed home Theo Walcott’s cross with a sweet right-footed finish.
Walcott then got in on the action to secure our place in the last eight as he cooly slotted home after being found by a superb pass from Joel Campbell and the stand-in skipper then wrapped things up with a late fourth.
We’ll now entertain Watford at the emirates in the quarter finals on Sunday afternoon.
