[Video] Arsenal fan stops Mesut Ozil’s car and begs him not to leave
An Arsenal fan has stopped Mesut Ozil in his car and begged him not to leave the club following last night’s disgraceful loss at home to Swansea City.
Ozil once again started in attack last night but we bottled our chance to get back in the title race after slumping to a disappointing 2-1 defeat which leaves us six points adrift of leaders Leicester City.
The German playmaker looked hugely frustrated during the closing stages of the game and with the club looking destined to go yet another season without lifting the title, many are concerned that Ozil will push for a move this summer.
Obviously that would be devastating as he’s been our best player this season and he’s well on course to breaking Thierry Henry’s Premier League assist record [20] with 18 to his name so far.
It appears one fan has taken his opportunity to plead with Mesut to stay at the club as a video has emerged of a fan stopping Ozil in his car after the game last night to beg him to stay at the Emirates.
‘be patient‘ and give it ‘one more season‘ the fan shouted at the attacker, who looked pretty unimpressed sitting in his car.
