Tweets: Ozil & Ramsey take to Twitter after Arsenal beat Burnley
Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey have taken to Twitter to congratulate their team mates after Arsenal booked their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup with a 2-1 win over Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
Ozil and Ramsey were both given the afternoon off as neither player were named in the match-day squad after Arsene Wenger decided to give them a rest ahead of our Premier League clash with Southampton on Tuesday.
The pair watched-on as Calum Chambers opened the scoring with a superb opener before Sam Vokes equalised for the visitors before half-time. However, Alexis Sanchez grabbed the winner after the break to secure our place in the fifth round draw.
Ozil took to Twitter to point out that the result was all that mattered today while Rambo said he was pleased to see Rosicky make his first appearance of the season, while the midfielder also congratulated Mohamed Elneny on his debut performance.
Check out what the boys had to say here:
Good win by the boys today, into the 5th round! Great to see Rosicky back and congrats to @ElNennyM on debut. See you Tuesday #FACup #AFC
