Tweets: Ozil responds to Bellerin’s ‘no Ozil, no problem’ comment
Hector Bellerin and Mesut Ozil have been enjoying some banter on Twitter after Arsenal eased into the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 3-1 victory over Sunderland this afternoon.
Bellerin put in a superb performance down the right wing with the Spanish youngster setting up second half goals for Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud as we came from behind to see-off the Black Cats.
Mesut Ozil was one of the high profile absentees as the German schemer was given the afternoon off after a hectic Christmas and New Year period and Bellerin took to Twitter after the game to poke fun at his team mate by posting a message saying ‘No Mesut Ozil? No Problem!’.
Ozil was quick to respond after the playmaker congratulated Hector, or ‘speedy’, for his fine performance against Sunderland today while Mesut also posted another tweet saying it was a well deserved victory.
Aaron Ramsey also took to the social media site to say ‘job done’ as Arsenal booked their place in the hat for the fourth round draw while Joel Campbell left a message to his followers saying he was pleased to score and get through to the next round.
Following this victory, we remain among the favourites to retain the FA Cup for a record third time. Most bookmakers are offering odds of around 8/1 at this stage but we can get you enhanced odds of 16/1 thanks to this code at William Hill.
