Arsenal Clear To Sign 31-Goal Striker After Club Agree To Sell

By on August 5, 2015

According to reports today, Lyon have agreed to sell star striker Alexandre Lacazette clearing the way for a potential €50m move to Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger has been tipped to sign another striker before the window shuts and although most of the speculation surrounds Karim Benzema these days, Lacazette is another who’s been strongly linked with a move in recent weeks.

The Express reported last month that Arsenal were among the clubs who are showing a keen interest in signing the French international and his manager Hubert Fournier admitted that they’d be forced to cash-in if a club tabled a bid worth around €50m – which equates to around £35m.

“I’m not worried about Alexandre.”

“Of course, if a €50-60m (£35-42m) bid was tabled, I will no doubt have to prepare for his exit and wish him good luck, but I really feel like he wants to stay.” [source: Express]

Lacazette has developed into one of the hottest strikers in Europe after netting 31 goals for Lyon last season so he could probably command such a huge fee in today’s market.

The French club have been desperately trying to tie him down to a new contract but he’s resisted their attempts so far and it looks like he’s finally causing problems within the club.

The Daily Star are carrying a report from L’Equipe which claims that Lyon have decided to sell the striker after growing tired of his poor attitude and lackluster performances in pre-season.

It appears Lacazette may be agitating for a move by causing problems behind the scenes and if these reports are accurate, then he might just get his way.

It remains to be seen how Wenger would react if he gets word that Lacazette is available but I have a feeling he’ll see how things pan out with Benzema before committing to anything.

Lacazette is a fine talent but he’s not as established as Benzema just yet and I honestly think the boss feels he has a great chance of luring the Real Madrid hitman to the Emirates this summer.

If that doesn’t work out, then hopefully Arsene will then turn his attention to Lacazette as he’d be an excellent alternative, but Benzema is the man we all want.

He is a skillful and complete striker. Infact If we can’t sign Karim Benzma, this guy would be very good signing. It would put less pressure on Mr. Arsene Wenger in the way that, he would demand less playing time in comparison to a high profile striker. We already have good strikers in the team, so this lad would be a very good addition.

I don’t know why Arsene Wenger didn’t sign Dzeko, to me Dzeko would be much better than the two french player. Dzeko has experience of EPL and if given a chance he will help us with let’s not less than 16 goals per season.

Benzema is an ideal partner for Ronaldo He’s a big, powerful, skillful and unselfish presence in the box. Benitez knows that, Ronaldo knows that. He scores goals in Spain, as he plays in a team that’s vastly superior to most of the others in the league. He doesn’t get that many for France and recently went 14 months without an international goal. Arsenal need an instinctive type of finisher. Wenger’s job is to find the next Suarez or Agüero. That’s what he’s paid £7M pa for.

which player did wenger want to buy? when the transfer window closes in 25 days time from today. the only problem with arsenal team is wenger. wenger think he is right at all time and he did not take or believe another man’s option. he think theo, ovliver and welbeak will challenge a major trophy with arsenal team because all of them did not have good ball control and difensive qualities. he (wenger) did not realised that he is oldest coach among the big four in the ELP and the team has money to buy any player. so i adversed to stop posting fake articles on the internet

Premiership clubs in relation to students

Man United is like a student who doesn’t read throughout the semester but reads for exams and comes first at the end.

Arsenal is the youngest boy in class, very brilliant but always has exam fever. He manages to still be among the best in the class.

Chelsea is the big bully of the class. He comes first sometimes but his rich father is never satisfied with
    his performance.

Liverpool always wants to claim he is the best because his father was the best during his time in the same school.

Man City is the son of the richest man in town. His parents have hired the best lesson teachers to coach him. He is starting to contest with the guys at the top.

As for tottenham. He doesn’t really want to be first, all he wants is to be better than Arsenal, his next
    door neighbor.

I prefer Karim Benzema to Laccazette if the deal for Real Madrid hitman staled, then the fellow compatriot can fit the shoes.
