Jack Wilshere Charged By FA For Tottenham ‘Sh*t’ Chant At Cup Parade

By on June 3, 2015

The FA have sunk to new lows of idiocy after charging Jack Wilshere with misconduct for his Tottenham-related chants at our FA Cup parade on Sunday afternoon.

For the second year running, Wilshere took to the stage outside the Emirates in front of thousands of fans to lead a chant aimed at our North London rivals, which very-accurately describes them as being ‘shit’.

Jack was hungover/drunk at the time and it was all in the name of fun/banter. Unfortunately, those are two words the FA know nothing about as they have released a statement this afternoon confirming that the midfielder has been charged with misconduct.

The statement read:

Jack Wilshere has been charged with misconduct in relation to Arsenal’s FA Cup celebrations on Sunday 31 May 2015.

It is alleged his conduct in making and/or inciting certain comments during the club’s open bus trophy tour was improper and/or brought the game into disrepute.

The player has until 6pm on 10 June 2015 to respond to the charge.

Jack was warned about his future conduct after singing the same songs at last years parade, so we can’t say he didn’t see this coming, but it also doesn’t make the charge correct.

Here’s a reminder of what got the FA all hot under the collar:

Far worse language is uttered about teams by crowds during televised football matches and players about each other / referees during matches which can be clearly lip read from the tv. Are the FA going to take action over this, which is after all what they should be doing? This was an Arsenal celebration, not organized by the FA, and therefore AFC responsibility to take any action required, which they’ve done

Arsenal have taken no meaningful action, certainly not an unreserved official apology, suggesting that they are tacitly in favour of this odious little idiot’s foul-mouthed, booze-fuelled, stupid, disrespectful, unnecessary rant. It actually looks like Arsenal are quite gleeful about it. Ian Wright, for one, has been openly sniggering like a kid who’s just said his first swearword.

The idiot’s “apology”, if you care to read it carefully, talks about gooners and then says sorry if I upset any of u (sic), in other words sorry if I upset any gooners. He is not in the least bit sorry if he upset anyone else.

If it were not for Niall Quinn’s comments that the idiot had overstepped the mark, it would be tempting to regard the entirety of Arsenal Football Club (officials, players and supporters) as being completely devoid of any class or quality. The words “be gracious in victory” contain a high level of decency that the vast majority of those associated with Arsenal can’t ever hope to understand.

This brainless, injury prone individual is not fit to wear an Arsenal shirt, let alone play for England. Pleased the FA are taking action. He needs to grow up.

Last year you could put down to banter and the brainless chav was warned…guess what he does it again ? Why ? was it to get fans onside as he has realised he is not as good as Arsenal bummed him up “the next messi” the village idiot more like.
