By on June 2, 2015

Arsenal’s latest wonderkid Gedion Zelalem has been showing off his skills while playing for the USA at the under-20 World Cup today.

Zelalem recently pledged allegiance to the United States despite being eligible to play for Germany and he’s been getting his international career underway at the Under-20 World Cup in New Zealand.

The 18-year-old started in midfield and stood-out as the US eased to a 4-0 victory over the hosts in their Group A match thanks to goals from Bradford Jamieson, Emerson Hyndman, Paul Arriola and Rubio Rubin.

Zelalem showed-off some lovely touches during the game and even grabbed an assist for the third goal, with his drop of the shoulder helping him find space before releasing Arriola with a slide-rule pass.

The youngster even had the confidence to pull off a rabona cross, but unfortunately it didn’t lead to anther goal.
