Wenger Rules Attacker Out Of Man Utd Clash But Ramsey Should Be Fit
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Danny Welbeck will not face Manchester United on Sunday but is confident Aaron Ramsey will be available.
Welbeck has missed the last two games after picking up a knee injury in training and the boss had previously suggested the 24-year-old would return to face his former side this weekend.
However, speaking at his pre-match press conference this morning, Arsene has revealed that Welbeck is still a little ‘short’ of fitness and will therefore miss the trip to Old Trafford.
It’s a real blow as Danny would have been a useful player to call upon this weekend and no doubt he would have been pumped to play against United, but we’ll have to make-do without him.
There was better news regarding the fitness of Aaron Ramsey though as the boss is confident he’ll be fit and available on Sunday.
The Welshman hasn’t been able to train this week after aggravating a knock during our 1-0 defeat to Swansea on Monday but he should take part in training today and be in contention this weekend.
Here’s what the boss had to say to the press this morning:

Interesting article on the strategies for social media. I always find it best to narrow down the objectives even further. From my experience having more than 2 social media objectives requires a lot more investment and less focus. Having a strong and clear objective allows for a clearer and cleaner target objective.
