Tweet: Mesut Ozil Hopes For Swift Return After Missing Arsenal Win
Mesut Ozil has taken to Twitter to celebrate Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Newcastle United and says he hope’s to return to action as soon as possible.
Ozil missed the trip to St James’ Park on Saturday afternoon through illness but even without him we still managed to grind out a vital 2-1 win thanks to a first half double from Olivier Giroud.
The German playmaker has been on Twitter this even to celebrate us reaching the 60 point mark and told his followers he hopes to be back soon.
The players will now head off all around the world for the international break now so I’m guessing that as Ozil only missed today’s game with illness, he should be fine to return to the squad to face Liverpool we reconvene in early early.
Let’s hope so as although we managed to get the three points today, we certainly missed Ozil’s presence, particularly in the second half when we could barely keep hold of the ball.
… and the next #bpl win! 60 points I hope to return to the team as soon as possible #YaGunnersYa #NUFCvAFC #COYG
