Referees Announced For Arsenal’s Games With Everton & QPR
Arsenal have found out who will be in charge of games against Everton and QPR after the Premier League announced the latest match official appointments this afternoon.
We host Everton at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon and our old friend Andre Marriner has been selected as the referee.
Marriner famously sent off Kieran Gibbs instead of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at Stamford Bridge last season but thankfully we’ve gone on to win five of the last six games with him in charge since that fateful day.
Arsenal will then make the short trip across London to face Queens Park Rangers next Wednesday and Kevin Friend has been appointed to oversee things at Loftus Road.
We’ve actually got a very good record with Friend in charge, winning four out of six games and drawing the other two, so hopefully that run will continue next week.
Here are the details:
2.05pm Arsenal v Everton
Referee: Andre Marriner
Assistants: S Ledger, D Cann
Fourth Official: R Madley
Queens Park Rangers v Arsenal
Referee: Kevin Friend
Assistants: M Mullarkey, M McDonough
Fourth Official: L Probert
