Confirmed: Young Striker Signs Contract With Arsenal
Young striker Kaylen Hinds has signed his first professional contract with Arsenal, the club have confirmed.
16-year-old Hinds grew up in Islington and is a graduate of our Hale End Youth Academy.
He’s been impressing for the under-19s this season with his three goals in three games helping the club reach the last 16 of the Uefa Youth League.
Hinds has also featured for the club at under-18 and under-21 level during the course of this season, while he’s also represented England at under-16 and under-17 level.
The youngster has done enough to convince Arsenal to hand him his first professional contract and we announced on Arsenal.com that that deal has now been signed.
Obviously most fans are more interested in the big-money signings but it’s also important to protect the clubs future so it’s great to hear that a highly-rated talent like Hinds has committed his long-term future to Arsenal.
The teenager has also taken to Twitter to express his delight at signing his deal. Hopefully we’ll be hearing a lot more of his name in the years to come:
