Arsenal thrashed Aston Villa 5-0 at the Emirates this afternoon with Mesut Ozil inspiring us to victory with a superb display.

We opened the scoring early on as a stunning flick from Ozil sent Giroud clear and the Frenchman kept his cool to chip Guzan for 1-0 in the 7th minute.

Ozil then cooly slotted in the second after being played in by Giroud before Walcott made it 3-0 with a fine finish midway through the second half.

Cazorla was fortunate to see his penalty find the back of the net for 4-0 after Akpom was fouled in the area and Bellerin completed the rout with a superb side-footed finish in the final minute.
