Embarrassing! Arsenal Seek Help From Barcelona To Diagnose Injury
Arsenal were forced to seek help from Barcelona doctors to treat and diagnose David Ospina’s recent thigh injury as our medical staff couldn’t find the problem.
Ospina joined the club from Nice in the summer but spent much of his early days on the sidelines with a niggling thigh injury that he suffered at the World Cup.
The injury was only initially thought to be relatively minor but the goalkeeper ended up spending over three months out, and now it’s come to light why….
According to reports, Arsenal’s medical staff were unable to find the root of the injury so we were forced to accept help from Barcelona’s club doctor, Dr. Pruna.
He immediately diagnosed the problem and helped bring Ospina back to full fitness, with the Colombian recently replacing Szczesny as our No.1.
If this is true, then it’s embarrassing to say the least. Fans are already suspicious that the medical staff are incompetent given our horrendous record with injuries over the past five years, so unfortunately this story is totally believable.
If we haven’t got doctors at the club who can diagnose simple injuries properly then what hope have we got of keeping a healthy squad together?
Here’s a photo of Ospina with the Barca doctor, one of the Arsenal medical staff and the Colombian international team doctor.
