PHOTO: Podolski Posts Heartfelt Message To Arsenal Fans Ahead Of Inter Move
Lukas Podolski has posted a heartfelt message to Arsenal fans on his Instagram account ahead of his six-month loan move to Inter Milan.
Podolski arrived in Italy on Friday night and successfully underwent his medical this morning after agreeing to take a pay cut to seal a short-term move to Inter.
It’s understood he’ll train with his new team mates this afternoon and could even be involved against Juventus on Tuesday night.
Podolski has now taken to Instagram to leave a message to Arsenal fans thanking them for everything they’ve done for him during his time in London.
The German also says he’s loved every minute of his time at the club and ‘hopes’ we’ll meet again. Which indicates he expects to leave the club on a permanent basis in the summer.
It’s a real shame things didn’t work out for him and I actually think it’s a mistake to let him go unless we plan on bringing in a replacement. His work-rate may have been poor at times but he was lethal in front of goal.
Let’s hope we don’t regret letting him go….
