TEAM NEWS: Wenger Confirms Ramsey & Koscielny Are Ruled OUT
Another day and yet more bad injury news for Arsenal as Arsene Wenger has just confirmed that Aaron Ramsey and Laurent Koscielny are out of tomorrow’s clash with Newcastle.
The boss revealed on Thursday that Koscielny was a major doubt after failing to recover from a calf injury that’s seen him miss the last two games but now he’s been definitely ruled out of the game.
With Calum Chambers suspended and Nacho Monreal also still out with a foot problem, it leaves us with a real problem in the centre of defence.
However, we now also have a dilemma in midfield as Arsene also confirmed that Ramsey won’t feature tomorrow due to a hamstring injury he picked up against Galatasaray.
It was only thought to be a minor issue but it sounds like it’s more serious than first thought as the Welshman’s gone for a scan and the boss doesn’t know how long he’ll be out for.
Lets hope it won’t be for long as we’re already without Jack Wilshere and Mikel Arteta, and we have a busy festive period coming up.
Thankfully Mathieu Flamini is fit, while Kieran Gibbs, Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez are all available after being rested in midweek.
