Wenger Confirms Walcott Injury Blow + Debuchy Latest
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Theo Walcott will miss at least the next two games due to a groin injury but Mathieu Debuchy is due back in training in two weeks.
Walcott has missed the last two games after coming back from England international duty with a groin injury but it was hoped he could feature this weekend as it was only thought to be a minor problem.
However, speaking at his press conference this morning, Arsene confirmed to reporters that the attacker will now sit out our upcoming games against West Brom and Southampton.
Hopefully Theo wont suffer any further set-backs and he should be in contention for our trip to the Britannia to face Stoke next weekend – although that’s hardly the idea fixture for him to make his comeback!
There was some positive news from the bosses team news update as he also revealed that Mathieu Debuchy is due to return to full training in two weeks after recovering from an ankle injury.
It will be a huge boost to have Debuchy back as he’s been sorely missed over the past three months but it will probably take him a couple of weeks to get his sharpness back before he’s considered for the first team, so we may not see him in action until late December.
Here’s what Arsene said this morning:

Can anyone explain why we get so many injuries some of which happen on the training pitch?I thought that the new fitness trainer we signed was claimed to be the signing of the season as he would reduce the number of injuries.Seems to me he is doing a really good job(not)another case of money well spent(Not). But back to my initial question Why do we get so many injuries when it seems that our rivals who play as many games as we do yet they don’t seem to have as many injuries as us why?

Arsenal pattern of training seems to be the cause of injuries woe,Arsenal training committee should adjust &strengten their weak training paterns, injury occure when u struggle more than u trained, look our rival Chelsea, they only had litle injuries despite their physicality methods of playin,.on otherways,Wenger shoold caution his players to remain stronger most especially wilsher that holds ball within himself even wen opponents stick to his body,…finally, wenger should buy young denfensive mf,like matic, fernadinho, etc not Arteta or flamini of old ages,i rest my case here,Gunner for life
