PHOTO: “Always A Gooner” – Attacker Commits Future To Arsenal
Lukas Podolski has committed his future to Arsenal after posting a message on Instagram telling fans he’ll keep fighting to earn a first team place.
Podolski has fallen out-of-favour under Arsene Wenger this season and is now lucky if he even gets a run-out off the bench.
The German international has started just one game and made six substitute appearances in all competitions this season, so it’s understandable that rumours of a move away in January have surfaced in recent weeks.
However, Podolski impressed during a 10 minute cameo against Burnley on Saturday with the attacker going close to scoring two goals only to be denied by a wonder save while the other smashed against the upright.
The 29-year-old has now taken to Instagram to commit his future to Arsenal after posting a message saying “once a Gooner, always a Gooner” and insisting he’ll keep fighting to get his chance before thanking the fans for their support.
