International Watch: The Ox + Cazorla Dropped, Welbeck Starts
International week continues and there are several Arsenal players in action this evening for their respective nations.
For England, Jack Wilshere continues in midfield while Danny Welbeck makes his first start since becoming an Arsenal player.
However, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been surprisingly left out with Aston Villa’s Fabian Delph coming in. The change may indicate a switch in formation from Roy Hodgson.
Here’s the England line-up:
England: Hart, Stones, Cahill, Jones, Baines, Delph, Henderson, Wilshere, Sterling, Rooney, Welbeck
Having started during Spain’s 1-0 defeat to France last week, Santi Cazorla drops to the bench tonight against Macedonia. This is the Spain line-up:
Spain: Casillas; Juanfran, Ramos, Albiol, Jordi Alba; Busquets, Koke; Cesc, Silva, Pedro; Alcácer
Let’s hope the Arsenal players do themselves proud but most importantly, NO INJURIES!
