Arsenal Look To Hijack Liverpool’s Balotelli Deal As Agent Flies To London
Arsenal are looking to make a late move to hijack Liverpool’s €20m deal to sign Mario Balotelli from AC Milan, according to reports.
The controversial hitman confirmed this morning that he’s leaving the San Siro and widespread reports suggest he’s heading to Anfield after the Merseysiders supposedly agreed a €20m fee on Wednesday night.
However, there could yet be a twist in the tail as the Express are citing reports coming out of Italy that claim that Arsenal, and possibly even Chelsea, are still in the running and are eyeing late bids to hijack Liverpool’s deal.
Balotelli’s agent, Mino Raiola, is en route to the UK to discuss terms with Liverpool officials this afternoon but the report states he insisted on holding the negotiations in London so he could also hold potential talks with Arsenal and Chelsea.
It would be hilarious if Liverpool lost out on Balotelli at this stage as many of their fans are already hailing him as the ‘best signing of the summer’. Will fans ever learn? A deal’s not done until he’s holding the shirt!
I personally don’t see Arsene Wenger signing the Italian international as he’s made it clear he’s not in the market for any more attackers. However, that could change should someone leave and with rumours circulating that Galatasaray are in for Lukas Podolski, perhaps Arsene might just decide to move for Balotelli afterall?
He’ll have to hurry up about it as Liverpool are keen to get the deal done today so he’s registered in time for their game with Man City on Monday night.

Why do people constantly refer to internet idiots, mostly 12 and 13 year olds as the voice of a clubs fan base? I’m a season ticket holder at anfield and having spoken to about 12 friends who also hold season tickets, there is mixed feelings about this which at best can be described as cautious optimism. Signing of the summer? I’ll leave that opinion to the 12 year olds.

The boss should do everything within his powers to block Liverpool and Chelsea from signing Super Mario. If the boss refused to block this sale, it means he would inadvertentdly strenghtened his rivals by allowing them to sign his big target and later use the beast against Arsenal. That will be unpardonable shame! If he is having problem with blocking this transfer, let him seek puma’s help.

Please will the ass wipes wanting balotelli just look not only at his stats but also his attitude. Not only can giroud contain his temper, but he simply outscored balotelli every season.
Both have scored 73 goals for club and country recently, but the big difference is giroud has done it in 3 seasons whilst Mario has taken 5 seasons.
