Arsene Wenger Skips French TV Duties To Hold Talks With Agents
French-based journalist Francois Piraux has revealed that Arsene Wenger ditched his duties with television station TF1 this evening because he was holding talks with agents.
Arsene has been out in Brazil working with French TV as a pundit and commentator during the World Cup, which hasn’t gone down too well with some Arsenal fans who feel he should be concentrating on trying to bring in new players to the club.
Well it appears the boss is still trying to do just that with reporter Francois Piraux claiming on his Twitter account that Arsene wasn’t working with TF1 for tonight’s final Group A matches as he was meeting with agents about potential signings.
Arsene Wenger not on TF1 tonight because he have many meetings with agents about new signings. He will be present for France-Ecuador. #AFC

Obviously fans will now be speculating on who’s agent Arsene was meeting with and the likely candidates will be striker Mario Balotelli, right-back Serge Aurier and winger Juan Cuadrado – with the trio all strongly linked with a move to the Emirates in recent weeks.
I’m sure things will become a lot clearer over the course of the next few days and weeks, but at least fans know that Arsene is also using his time out in Brazil to work on transfers and not just having an extended holiday.
