TEAMS: Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud Starts For France
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud will start against Switzerland this evening as France look to book their place in the knockout stages of the World Cup.
Giroud was among the substitutes for Frances opener against Honduras last Sunday but Didier Deschamps has opted to bring him back in to the starting eleven at the expense of Antoine Griezmann.
However, fellow Gooner Laurent Koscielny misses out once again, with Sakho and Varane somehow keeping him out:
France
Lloris – Debuchy, Varane, Sakho, Evra – Sissoko, Cabaye, Matuidi – Valbuena, Giroud, Benzema.
Switzerland
Benaglio, Lichtsteiner, Von Bergen, Inler, Seferovic, Xhaka, Behrami, Rodríguez, Mehmedi, Djourou, Shaqiri
