PHOTOS: Ozil, Per + Poldi Post Dressing Room Pics After German Win
Arsenal’s German trio were all in action earlier this evening as they helped Joachim Loew’s men to a 4-0 win over Portugal in their Group G opener.
Per Mertesacker started the game and completed the ninety minutes while Mesut Ozil also started but was replaced just after the hour mark after putting in a steady display.
Lukas Podolski was among the substitutes and came on for the final 10 minutes and after the game, the attacker posted a selfie on his Instagram account with German chancellor Angela Merkel in the dressing room.
Ozil also shared a snap on Twitter with a member of the backroom staff while Per posed with the rest of the squad with Angela Merkel after the match as they celebrated getting their World Cup campaign under way in superb fashion.
