Arsenal edged a tense North London Derby 1-0 thanks to a stunning early strike from Tomas Rosicky on Sunday afternoon.
We were pretty poor going forward in truth and we had to rely on our defence to hold firm and keep the hosts at bay as they piled on the pressure during the second half.
Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny in particular were outstanding and the Frenchman just pipped his centre-back partner to the Man of the Match award.
After the game, Mertesacker took to Twitter to share a picture of him along with Bacary Sagna, Kos and Wojciech Szczesny in the dressing room:
