PHOTO: Young Lukas Podolski Snapped In Barcelona Shirt
Arsenal’s lovable attacker Lukas Podolski is a self-confessed life-long FC Koln supporter and was believed to have been reduced to tears when he left the club to move to North London in 2011.
However, judging by the picture below, he also had a soft spot for Barcelona when he was a kid as he’s been snapped posing in a Barca shirt while pointing to a FC Koln sign.
But we shouldn’t read too much into it as the German international also had a poster of Zinedine Zidane on his wall during his time at Barca’s fierce rivals Real Madrid, so he clearly wasn’t that much of a fan.
Anyway, the important thing is he now dons the famous Red & White shirt and hopefully he can help fire the Gunners to some silverware this season!
