TWEETS: Rambo, Ozil & Podolski React To The Napoli Defeat On Twitter
Last night turned out to be a nail-biting affair with Napoli’s late goals meaning we made it through to the knockout stages of the Champions League by the skin of our teeth.
Of course we’d have preferred to finish top as it would have meant a far easier draw in the last 16, but most fans would have bitten your hand off had you offered them qualification from the group at the start of the season.
It was a great achievement just to make it through and we now have a huge double-header against one of the big-boys to look forward to. These are the games we worked so hard for last season, so lets enjoy them.
After the Napoli game, some of the players took to Twitter to react to the loss. Aaron Ramsey, who came on as a second half sub, admitted the team wasn’t at their best but thanked the travelling fans for their support while Ozil was philosophical about the defeat.
Here’s what the boys had to say:
A poor performance but we're through and now can focus on Saturday. Thanks in particular to the fans who travelled out to Italy

Sometimes a lost game can be like a Victory. Tough game.

0:2 finally, but we're in the next round!

This is an embarrassing performance to the fans and the players as well as the coach, if we continue to play like this arsenal will be going down to 10th position in the table, because we did not play like a leader who is sitting pretty well at the top of English premier league. To be a leader is by luck, you must work absolutely hard if possible extra hard to achieve goal. So you guys should wake-up if you didn’t want to slip to 10 place in the table. Die Hard Gunners

A bad performance and hope it won’t spell the begining of a bad run cos that is the least we need now. Gunners to some is by choice, but to me, it’s my life. Let’s bounce back against city please!!!!!!. My blood is red.

We didn’t react to their substitutions and even though their first goal was good, we allowed them to get into a dangerous position – this was the first time for a long time that we’ve done this and paid the price. The second goal, which was vital to our qualification was a joke, and should’ve never happened – maybe this could’ve been put down to Arteta’s red card which also shouldn’t have happened, as they were making several cynical fouls, and didn’t have anyone sent off.

Napoli made our life difficult and that is normal because they wanted to qualify too. However,I would like to blame Winger for the such a poor result by let the tired players like the striker and Ozil play the whole 90 minutes. To me the couch is so sleepy in reading the game not only this case but many times for so many years.
