Arsenal Receive Tripple Injury Boost Ahead Of Fenerbache Clash

By on August 19, 2013

After the devastating news of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s injury this morning it’s nice to hear there is some more positive injury news coming out of the club this afternoon.

Saturday’s defeat to Aston Villa was not only a terrible result in terms of points, but it also took it’s tole in terms of injuries as we picked up a number of knocks.

Tomas Rosicky and Aaron Ramsey came away from the match nursing injury problems and were considered as doubts for Wednesday’s clash with Fenerbache while Kieran Gibbs was forced off early in the first half after cutting his eye open.

However, it seems all three are winning their fight to be involved with journalist James Olly claiming that they are all expected to be on the plane to Turkey tomorrow.

Right-back Bacary Sagna was lucky not to break his neck following a nasty fall in the final minute but while it’s not thought to be a long-term problem, Olly confirmed that the Frenchman is still a doubt for the Fener game.

If we lost Rosicky, Ramsey and Gibbs we might as well have conceded the tie because we probably couldn’t have fielded 11 senior players, so thankfully it looks like they will be able to take part.

Sagna’s loss is a blow but Jenkinson is able to step in at right-back so he will play in defence along with Mertesacker, Koscielny and Gibbs.

The starting team should be capable of getting a result (yes, so was the side that played against Villa) but the options on the bench are going to be limited. Let’s hope we don’t have any more negative injury news because the squad simply can’t cope.

Wenger does not seem to live on this planet anymore. He is the only one not seeing what everyone is seeing. Similar scenario in 2011 but we were lucky. He was able to sign 5 players overnight, but could not sign any in 3 months!
He regularly intentionally puts us in dangerous situation. He is a specialist in creating troubles where there is none and wait for some embarrassing results to wake up after which he sleeps again. He has stopped being a fighter sometime ago.
I have never experienced a champions league year without Arsenal since I became a fan (11 years ago), but that seems a sure reality at the moment. I would have loved not to qualify maybe wenger will see more clearly. But then, I cant imagine not watching Arsenal

A possible 3 desperate buys for this now threadbare squad, and in a repeat of history 2 of the 3 will be useless to the team and be on the books until some other team takes them on a free (after cancelled contracts) or they will hang around collecting good money for nothing; and we pay very high ticket prices at the gates too maintain this folly.

We need a defensive midfielder (Jack Rodwell) A Centre Back (Adil Rami) A striker (Emmanuel Emenike) and an extra bit of width on the left/Right wing (Wakaso Mubarak)

Infact, i’m tired of how Wenger is managing this club since last 5years ago. He need to take a good look at Man Utd, Chelsea and others to learn lessons. Infact, he is stubborn but not stupid. Sack him before he get stupid or else, no top four, not to talk of trouphy and probably, relegation zone await arsenal.

If you are like wenger in your family, automatically everybody will reject you. So better never be like wenger and stop praising bad management of wenger. Other coaches without much transfer kitty shout for money but he will return his claiming no good player but after one or two years of fail speculation and bid will go back to bid three times more. Sorry wenger to you and your supporters.

No player wants to join arsenal anymore because of wenger ‘s policy.the important players have move to other clubs.wenger wasted too much time pricing and experimenting looking for lower price. If you don’t spend you can’t win the Epl.

Have anyone seen the movie “money ball” by brat pit? Buying players using computer stats and forming a low cost team to win the baseball championship? Arsene wenger is almost the same.
But as a supporter, I still trust wenger. With or without a signing is not important. Its the whole team that matters. If the team doesnt have the fire to fight for a win, there is no hope even if u sign messi or neymar in. Big names dosent mean u win big cups. Players might perform well in other leagues but might not perform well in EPL.

If Wenger doesn’t care about marking the danger men in the Turkish side,
rest assured the gunners are in for a torrid time.If they lose the calls for the FM’s head will grow louder.
Why not get down from his high horse and let Bould devise a counter attacking strategy. Me thinks if the gunners go kami kaze on the attack,i will be suicidal.
Th next two weeks will tell us more.

I am demused when i hear Wenger say there are not top players to sign. It goes to show he is no a good coach. One would have expect such man to get the best always, whenever he signs such “fantastic ” talents. I remain to be proved wrong, that in the last three year or so that Arsenal fortune started nose diving, he has not been able to spot one so call fantastic player. If he know fantastic players, why go for players like “Chamach,. Scquishi, Arshavin, Benderner” and the lots of flow, whose name i cant even spell correctly becos they were below average. The simple fact is Arsene does not have what it takes to identify a good player, hence he should be booted out.
