VIDEO: Arsenal 7-1 Vietnam: Giroud Bags Classy Hat-Trick As Gunners Stroll

Arsenal made it 14 goals in just two pre-season games after a comfortable 7-1 win over Vietnam on Wednesday.

We opened the scoring after less than 15 minutes through Giroud before the Frenchman made it 2-0 with a superb curling effort from outside the box. His hat-trick was complete just before the break when he finished Oxlade-Chamberlain’s fine through-ball in style, dinking over the on-rushing goalkeeper for 3-0.

A whole host of changes were made at the break but it didn’t disrupt the team, Oxlade-Chamberlain making it 4-0 in the 48th minute with a stunning long-range effort. Youngster Akpom then scored a quick-fire double and Miquel fired home a left-footed strike to make it 7-0 before Tran Manh Dung sent the home crowd wild by scoring a late, albeit fortunate, consolation goal.
