Laurent Koscielny and Granit Xhaka were able to take part in full training today ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Southampton tomorrow night.

Arsene Wenger revealed at his press conference this morning that Koscielny was considered a doubt after picking up a knock during the 2-0 win over Man Utd on Sunday afternoon.

Xhaka was also a fitness concern after being forced off at the weekend having aggravated a calf injury and both he and Kos were due to undergo fitness tests at London Colney today.

However, it looks like Xhaka and Koscielny should be in contention to make the squad for tomorrow’s trip to St Marys after taking part in full training this afternoon.

The pair were joined by Lucas Perez on the training pitches after the striker recovered from a thigh injury that’s hampered him for two months so he could also come back in to the squad against Southampton.

Shkodran Mustafi continued to build on his fitness having missed the last four games with a thigh problem while Danny Welbeck took part in training despite reports of him carrying a toe injury.
