Wenger Reportedly Informs Arsenal Players That He’s Off In June

Arsene wenger

A lot of news has been going around recently surrounding Arsenal and, in particular, their manager, Arsene Wenger. He has been managing this team for over 20 years! However, Arsenal have once again suffered a collapse during the business end of the season with hefty losses against Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Liverpool ending hopes of major honours for another year.

Some fans are of the opinion that Arsene isn’t the only person to blame since it’s up to the players to perform when called upon and many have been found wanting. As in all sports, when a footballer fails to deliver on the pitch it can be enticing for them to take certain supplements to give them an extra boost (anyone interested in PED’s can find out more on anabolic steroids at 120kgs.com), but even that might not be enough for the likes of Francis Coquelin!

However, the majority of supporters don’t feel the players are to blame and put the responsibility solely at the feet of the manager. It was widely reported that Arsenal had offered Arsene a further two years on his contract but everything in recent days is pointing to him leaving the club with reports even suggesting he’s told the player he’ll be off in June.

There are a growing number of Arsenal fans who delighted at the prospect of Arsene leaving, especially after our humiliating 10-2 aggregate defeat to Bayern in the Champions League last-16, while the north Londoners are also 16 points off the pace in the title race which is not good enough for a club like Arsenal.

Fans have been calling for Wenger to leave for some time and the increasing pressure seemingly forced the club to respond with chairman Sir Chips Keswick releasing a formal statement last week insisting a mutual decision will be made over the managers future at the right time. So despite the unrest among the supporters, the Arsenal board have no intention of making any immediate decision and will instead wait until Wenger’s contract expires in the summer.

Despite Sir Chips statement, Wenger has always suggested that he alone would decide his future but he did admit last week that the opinion of the fans would play a part in his decision over whether to remain at the club.

With all of the pressure mounting on Arsene’s shoulders, it’s very likely that he knows his time is up. However, he may still have it in him to take Arsenal through another season but maybe that’s not what the team needs.

Fans everywhere think it’s time for a fresh manager to reinvigorate their team again but we’ll we’ll have to wait a little while longer before this saga is resolved.

Look my advise to the board and fans is Arsene Wenger is not only the problem. Buy world class players.one stricker, two midfielders and more defender then Arsenal problem is soft. The rest of the players can stay especially Sanchez and ozil

Year in year out this is what fans always say! but how has buying players helped so far? Sanchez nd ozil and alot of them including Granit Xhaka that was meant to be the so called ‘midfield enforcer’ were bought to beef up the team but sorry to say, same old same old! Arsenal needs an overhaul not buy this and buy that!!!..

Its not a case of you either blame the players or blame Wenger, the players, the board and Wenger are ALL to blame. But Wenger has to be the first to go since he was the one who bought the players. He’s the one who bought in the coaches and is responsible for the tactics and motivation of the players. You know when rival fans start chanting for the manager to stay it must be time for him to go. We’ll then see what ind of board we truly have by what replacement they bring in. will they try and bring in a yes man, or will they bring in someone who shakes things up n takes no prisoners, such as Simeone. If they bring in a yes man then the protests will intensify for Kreonke n co to go

Agree with ninja toenail, everybody has their part to play, and the blame must be shared, but Wenger needs to be the first to be replaced.

Everything at Arsenal is done his way, he picks, trains and motivates the players, if he cant do that to the required level any more then its time to go.

I actually think if Wenger does go he may well do quite well at another club, say PSG. A change could help him as well as helping Arsenal.

As for who to replace Wenger, I do think highly of Simeone, but after looking at what Allegri has achieved in Italy, on course for a third successive double with Juventus, plus winning the league with Milan prior to that, I think I would probably pick Allegri.

Tactically flexible, can attract top players and rebuild a team, consistent top class results, hasnt won the Champions league yet, but then again, nor have Arsenal.

I don’t think what the media is saying is what we can respond to, the media always say things without proper research and sometimes we response to wrong information. So whoever is a true supporter of Arsenal, ignore the article above. Waiting for the official announcement.

Whenever a football manager isn’t passionate, proactive or has a high demand for success, things don’t bode well with the team. this is a quintessential example of what arsenal is currently going through. we need a manager that isn’t there to yield profit for the kleptocratic owners of the club, but a manager that is determined to yield success..That is only what matters now. if kroenke needs to yield profit for his business, he should be a goat-herder instead of a majority shareholder!!!…

Tactically Wenger is ahas been. If Arsenal cant get cl qualification,
believe me ,he will in all probability leave. Winning the FA cup but finishing outside the top 4,aint good enough .

It is time for Wenger to leave our team alone. He has lost fresh ideas, his selection and sub during matches are terrible, his transfer policies are stale. How can he lose 10-2 to Bayern and he is still thinking of staying, he ought to have resigned since that night. He should stop ridiculing us. Go ,Wenger go.

A managerial transition after 20yrs is not as easy as many fans think especially those who have never kicked a football in their lives. The restructuring alone is huge let alone building a cohesive unit. Manchester united are still in transition even after spending ridiculous cash on players and coaches. Money that arsenal f.c can’t just throw around as man-u can (100m euro on 1 player?) Wenger’s time may be coming to an end but a smooth transition is essential to avoid several mid table finishes in a row. Or worse.
