Alexandre Lacazette has been photographed back out on the training pitch after Arsene Wenger confirmed some positive team news ahead of our clash with AC Milan.

Lacazette hasn’t featured for the Arsenal first team since the defeat to Tottenham at Wembley last month after undergoing surgery on a knee ligament injury.

However, the French international took part in his first full session outside today and Wenger has revealed he hopes to have Lacazette back in the squad after the international break.

It’s great to see Laca back at London Colney but for now he’s still unavailable for selection so he’ll miss the Europa League last-16 tie with Milan tomorrow night.

But otherwise, the boss has confirmed he has a fully fit squad to choose from as Hector Bellerin, Shkodran Mustafi and Nacho Monreal have all passed late fitness tests.

Bellerin has missed the last two games with a knee injury, Monreal’s been out since the League Cup final due to a back injury while Mustafi limped out of the win over Watford at the weekend with a groin problem.

However, they all took part in full training today and proved their fitness so I expect the trio to all start against Milan at the Emirates tomorrow night.

Wenger told Arsenal.com:

on the latest team news…
Basically, some players had a test this morning. Everybody’s available apart from Lacazette who is coming back into training, but is too short to be available for tomorrow.

on Lacazette being available after the international break…
Yes, he’s on track. He had a full session outside today and should be available after the break.

Arsenal head in to the game tomorrow holding a 2-0 lead from the first leg so we should be confident of progressing to the quarter finals on home soil.

We need to experiment playing Auba n Lava together, playing one striker up front is not yielding any positive result at all

Laca needs to get back asap, with Aubameyang firing, he could find himself benched like Giroud was. Both of them were nearly a goal a game strikers before joining the Gunners but Auba is the only one of the two who looks like he might get to this at Arsenal. Laca has a point to prove and show the boss that he is the real deal
