Video: Arsenal 5-1 Everton: Ramsey scores hat-trick for rampant Gunners
A rampant Arsenal side thrashed Everton 5-1 at the Emirates this evening with Ramsey bagging a hat-trick while Mkhitaryan helped himself to three assists.
It was a dream start as we broke the deadlock after just six minutes when Ramsey tapped home from a Mkhitaryan cross following a lovely move involving Ozil and Aubameyang.
Koscielny doubled our lead with a far post header from an Ozil corner before a deflected Ramsey strike flew past Pickford for 3-0 inside the opening 20 minutes.
Our January signings combined for the fourth as Mkhitaryan released Aubameyang with a lovely through ball and our new striker produced a world class finish to make it 4-0. It was offside but who cares!
We took our foot off the gas in the second half as Everton were the better team and grabbed a deserved goal when Calvert-Lewin headed home at the far post midway through the second period.
We picked things up and got our fifth goal as Rambo completed his hat-trick with a fine low finish from a Mkhitaryan pass as the Armenian international secured his third assist of the game.
