By on May 15, 2017

Former Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski has become a ‘legend’ in the eyes of some fans after poking fun at Tottenham with his very own White Hart Lane tribute on Twitter.

Our rivals said goodbye to their 118-year home yesterday with a 2-1 win over Manchester United and they celebrated in true Tottenham style with fans invading the pitch to steal some grass before ushering out poverty club legends for a sign-a-long.

There have been plenty of tributes going around on social media with fans, pundits and former players associated with Tottenham posting nostalgic memories of White Hart Lane.

However, Podolski has topped them all and proved once again that he’s still a Gooner at heart after posting his own tribute to White Hart Lane on Twitter this morning.

The striker tweeted a photo of him celebrating an Arsenal win at the Lane along with a couple of snaps of the 2003/04 invincibles partying on the pitch after clinching the Premier League title.

Obviously Tottenham fans have been infuriated by Podolski’s Tweet but hundreds have Arsenal supporters have declared him as a fully-fledged club legend.

Podolski the tratorous Pole who played for Germany seems to be another of them who is obsessed by Tottenham and cannot take his eyes of what Tottenham do, perhaps he should look back on his glorious past with the Goners and realise he was no loss the them as they considered him to be inadequate with his feet and has no proved he is inadequate between the ears.
