Two injured Arsenal stars have been snapped in training today along with new signing Cohen Bramall as the squad prepares to take on Swansea tomorrow afternoon.

Francis Coquelin missed last weekend’s FA Cup win at Preston North End after suffering a hamstring injury against Bournemouth on January 3rd.

The midfielder was initially ruled out for between 3-4 weeks but Arsene Wenger suggested at his press conference this morning that Coquelin was ahead of schedule and could even be available to face Burnley next weekend.

It looks like that is a realistic target as the Frenchman has now been photographed at London Colney this afternoon – although there wasn’t any snaps of Coquelin taking part in the full session so he’s probably just doing light individual work right now.

Another one of our injury victims was also photographed on the training pitch today with Per Mertesacker braving the cold in North London as he looks to get himself back to full fitness.

Mertesacker was close to making his comeback following seven months out with a knee injury but was ruled out for a further three weeks after suffering a setback in training earlier this month.

The German has also been pictured at the training ground today but like Coquelin it looks as though he was doing some individual work away from the main group.

Our latest signing, Cohen Bramall, was getting acquainted with his new team mates at London Colney today after joining from Hednesford Town last week.

The 20-year-old is expected to play for the under-23’s this season but it seems Arsene Wenger is allowing him to train with the first team for now.
