Mustafi: Deal off?

It looks like our week has just gone from bad to worse as a well-known Twitter ‘In The Know’ claims a proposed deal has been cancelled after the player pulled out of the move at the last minute.

For those of you who are on Twitter, you’ll probably have heard of The Arsenal Horse as they are well known among Arsenal fans for their so-far faultless insights in to transfer news.

They only disclose information occasionally and have NEVER been proven wrong in the past. They seemingly have a contact at London Colney and their info is usually to do with impending medicals. They were the first to leak info about Kim Kallstrom’s move back in January 2014 and haven’t been wrong since.

So fans were getting excited when they claimed last week that a medical was scheduled to take place early this week after we’d agreed terms in principle over a new signing.

However, The Arsenal Horse has sent fans on Twitter in to meltdown after providing an update this afternoon claiming that the unknown player has now pulled out of his proposed move to Arsenal.

Read the depressing tweets below:

The Horse rarely gives the names of players for obvious reasons but understandably most people are assuming they are referring to Shkodran Mustafi, given that he’s been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal.

The centre-backs agent was quoted in the Mirror as saying last week that we’d agreed personal terms with the German international and there were various rumours in other media outlets over the weekend that a deal was expected to be wrapped-up this week.

The Arsenal Horse has neither confirmed or denied that the player they are referring to is Mustafi but I think it’s a fair assumption to make, unless Wenger had lined-up a secret deal for another player. Who knows, but it appears our proposed deal has now collapsed.

I’m sure if it is Mustafi the papers will find out soon enough but for now we’ve just got to go on the claims of The Horse. Obviously some people are hugely skeptical to believe the Twitter ramblings of a ‘horse’ but to be fair to them, they’ve never been wrong in the past and do seem to have a genuine contact at Colney.

Let’s hope their information is wrong this time though….

when a team shows no prospect or ambition, players will surely shy away. No world class player will want to sign for a team without the exhibition of some future glory. Money is not always the matter in this game.

I have told every Arsenal fc fans that Mr wenger cannot achieve anything again in that club orelse. He change his transfer policy or quit the club either by resignations or sacking .Therefore, Mr wenger does not feel any pressure for now even latter until the club goes down. WENGER OUT NOW OR NEVER OLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I honestly and truly believe Arsene Wenger should leave Arsenal he just does not know how to run this team anymore he has completely lost the plot yes he is a fantastic accountant but has lost the knowledge of how to be a football manager and I believe even the players believe this to be the case I do not believe Ozil or Sanchez will sign new contracts and will leave and if that happens it is goodnight Arsenal
