Video: Arsenal 3-2 Man City: Walcott & Akpom help Arsenal beat City
Arsenal wrapped-up their pre-season preparations with a 3-2 victory over Manchester City in Gothenburg this evening.
City opened the scoring through Aguero before we levelled things up shortly after half-time when Iwobi curled home a fine goal from the edge of the area.
Theo Walcott then got another morale-boosting goal as he played a lovely one-two with Alexis Sanchez before dinking Joe Hart for 2-1 in the 73rd minute.
Chuba Akpom came off the bench to get yet another pre-season goal under his belt as he was on hand to tap home after Walcott had pounced on a poor pass at the back from City.
Ihenacho grabbed a late second for Pep Guardiola’s side but we hung on to secure a 3-2 win, but not before Gabriel was stretchered off in tears after suffering a suspected broken ankle.
