Video: Alex Iwobi scores stunner as Arsenal U19s beat Bayern Munich
Arsenal under-19’s continued their fine early-season form by beating Bayern Munich 2-0 this afternoon and it was Alex Iwobi who proved to be the match winner after scoring both goals.
After a goalless first half, the 19-year-old opened the scoring in the 73rd minute with a stunning strike from outside the area as Iwobi shifted the ball to his right side before lashing home into the top corner.
It was 2-0 just a minute later as Iwobi was on hand to tap home a cross at the far post but the game will be remembered for the first crucial goal.
The victory makes it three wins from three games for Arsenal’s under-19’s in the UEFA Youth League.
