Arsenal To Make ‘Huge’ Bid For Midfielder, Personal Terms Agreed?

By on February 26, 2015

According to reports today, Arsenal will make a ‘huge’ offer for Morgan Schneiderlin this summer and it’s been suggested that terms may already have been agreed with the player.

We’ve been tracking Schneiderlin for almost two years now and it was reported that we came close to signing him last summer but Southampton refused to do business after letting a whole host of other key men leave St Mary’s.

With Arsene Wenger on the look out for someone to protect our back four – which we certainly need judging on last night’s performance – the Southampton star has once again been strongly linked with a summer move.

The Metro claim that Wenger has made Schneiderlin his top target and will table a ‘huge’ offer at the end of the season in order to beat Barcelona to his signature.

The Catalans aren’t able to register any new players until January 2016 but that wont stop them putting the ground-work in place for deals over the summer and apparently they’ve identified Schneiderlin as someone they want to lure to the Nou Camp next winter.

But Arsene is supposedly desperate to prevent that happening and the newspaper suggests we’re prepared to pay in excess of £22m in order to secure the 25-year-old’s signature.

This news comes shortly after L’Equipe were quoted as saying that we have already agreed personal terms with the midfielder, so all that’s left is for us to agree a fee with the Saints.

I can’t see Ronald Koeman letting him go easily, particularly if they qualify for the Champions League this season, but I would expect him to leave should they miss out on the top four – which I ultimately think they will.

I’ve said for a long time that Schneiderlin is the midfielder I want to see arrive this summer. We clearly need someone to protect the back four and the French international has been outstanding in recent years, so hopefully these reports are accurate.

What happened yesterday was a totatl desgrace to arsenal fans so now that we need to compile ourselves on away game its impotant we focus on how posible we can get 3 goals so as to be on a save side.Defence should be a bit tight to avoid there counters which evenctually made us to loose the game first round otherwise the team spirit of fighting is still there.Hope we have the capability to overturn the results and procced to the quorter finals.

Bonaroca: I have to say what happened against Monaco was a disgrace and there is no doubt Mr Wenger like all the players should bear this defeat. Mr Wenger has managed Arsenal magnificently, but I think that what was tactically good 18 years ago is definitely not good now. In fact Mr Wenger is still sticking to a system since he joined Arsenal. Today when you talk about Arsenal’s it is one pass up and two/three passes down which create a system were every player passes the buck from one to another which slows up the game makes the player more slow and sluggish and this has been going for quite long when one considers the calibre of the players. I would say they never had it so good earning those millions per year with the least energy. I think its is about time the Board will look into this matter and sort out not only Mr Wenger position but also of those well paid players.
I think it is about time that there should be a change of management at the top, and solve this problem once and forever. I think the majority of supporters would agree.

I think mr wenger as lost it all when it comes 2 d modern day football, I can’t see d reason of starting welbeck in a game where u need 2 win and limit ur opponent 4rm attacking 2much, walcot would have been a better option 2 start ahead of welbeck cus he can create and he is a better finisher compare 2 danny. And what the hell is ozil doing on the pitch for the full 90minutes wen u ar losing, he failed 2 create a scoring chance in d first half so there is no magic he will do it wen monaco as already packed d bus, wenger should have taken him out and bring in players dat ar more direct and would force things 2 happen. No doubt rosicky is old but I prefer is sharp movement and decisive passes ahead of ozil sluggish movement.

When did transfer deals start with agreeing personal terms and then transfer fee. Southampton would never agree to any discussions unless there was an agreement between the clubs, so this is bollocks. And you know it.
