‘New Messi’ Trains With Arsenal & Holds Talks With Arsene Wenger

By on December 16, 2014

Arsenal have made a late move to try and land highly-rated ‘wonderkid’ Martin Odegaard after inviting him to train with the squad while he and his father held talks with Arsene Wenger about a potential move to North London, according to the Telegraph.

Odegaard has already visited Liverpool, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in recent months and reports this morning suggested that the German giants were confident of sealing a deal as early as Wednesday – when the youngster turns 16 and will be able to sign a professional contract.

However, the Telegraph are now claiming that the attacking midfielder and his father were at London Colney today where they held talks with Arsene and were shown around the clubs facilities, before Odegaard took part in a training session.

Arsenal have done their best to try and convince the player his future should be in North London but Bayern remain confident of winning the race, while Odegaard is also expected to visit the likes of Man Utd, Man City and Barcelona before making a final decision.

Odegaard became the youngest player to play in his homeland after making his debut for Stromsgodset as a 15-year-old and has scored 5 goals in 25 appearances so far, while he also made his international debut back in August when he became the youngest-ever Norway senior player.

His talent has led to him being touted as the ‘New Lionel Messi’ and he’s clearly got a huge future ahead of him. We’ve got an excellent track record of developing young players, so hopefully we’ve done enough to persuade him to join Arsenal.

Wenger should stop advertising players players to De others club to buy. Because he only make mouth without buy before we no other club go sign dat players, so he should stop dat. Any players that he set eyes on him he should not make it sing to the whole world before he sign it.
