Arsene Wenger had plenty to answer for at his post match press conference after a bust-up with Jose Mourinho during Arsenal’s 2-0 loss at Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.

The Frenchman clashed with his opposite number 20 minutes into the first half after Garry Cahill had caught Alexis Sanchez with a two footed tackle right on the touchline, with Arsene pushing Mourinho twice in the chest as the pair exchanged heated words.

You can watch the incident here

Speaking to the press after the game, Wenger insisted he does not regret the incident as he feels it was Mourinho who confronted him as he went to check on Sanchez.

The boss also couldn’t resist having another cheeky dig at the Portuguese coach, saying he doesn’t listen to anything Jose says, but insists his push was only a ‘little one’.

He told Arsenal.com:

on whether he regrets the altercation with Mourinho…

No, what is there to regret after that? I wanted to go from A to B and somebody confronted me in between without any sign of welcome.

on where he was heading…

B was Alexis, to see how badly he was injured.

on what Mourinho said to him…

Honestly I don’t listen to what he says.

on whether he sets a good example…

I trust that you will teach me all the moral lessons over the next three weeks and I can accept that. But I’ve been in the game long enough to give it the right weight.

on whether he did push him…

I can try to push you and when [I do] you will see what my [pushes are really like]. It was a little one.

I personally loved the incident. Fair play to Arsene for giving it back to Mourinho and him showing some fight on the touchline certainly rubbed off on the players.

Hopefully next time we meet Chelsea at the Emirates later in the season we can get a positive result as we were close today, but just came up short.

Winterbun or Winterbum suprised me wuth his attack on Wenger.
Angel Winterbun exposed his ignorance about Wenger and Mourinho. Shameful for one so much involved with world football and coaches.
Winter’bum’ and all anti-Wenger will never know that Mou can bring a devil out of an Angel.
    Winterbum and morality and bias.
