Striker Close To Agreeing £90,000-a-week Deal With Arsenal

Olivier Giroud is close to agreeing a new deal worth £90,000-a-week that will tie him to Arsenal for the next four years, according to reports.

The striker is currently on the sidelines with a broken foot that he suffered during the closing stages of our game against Everton last month and isn’t expected to return to action until the New Year.

However, that hasn’t stopped Arsenal from holding talks with his representatives over a new deal and it seems terms are close to being agreed between the two parties.

Goal.com claim that the 27-year-old has been offered a two-year extension to his current deal – which expires in 2016 – as well as a significant pay rise from £60,000-a-week to nearer £90,000-a-week.

The report suggests that Arsene Wenger has sanctioned the new deal despite Giroud facing an uncertain future when he does eventually return to fitness following the signing of Danny Welbeck.

Alexis Sanchez is also regarded as a central striker in the long-term by Wenger, while the boss has also hinted that Theo Walcott will be used through the middle at times, so where does that leave Giroud?

In my opinion, he’s not good enough to hold down a first team place in a team that wants to win the Premier League so I’d actually be considering cashing-in next summer and replacing him with a world class front man, not handing him a new deal.

But it’s not my decision, and if he does pen fresh terms then Giroud will join the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny, Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky in signing new deals in recent months.

Wenger’s son,no matter how failure Giroud is Wenger will still trust him and when he recovered from injuries, believe me Wellbeck will warm the bench for the French man. Wenger wasn’t even happy for permanent deal on Wellbeck since he is a potential threats to his lazy boy. Wenger refusal to sign higuin was deliberate to cover Giroud.

Once again Wenger rewards failure, Giroud simply isn’t good enough to start for Arsenal, this is why our wage bill is increasing because le fraud rewards failure and gives out big wages for average players, what a disgrace but hey look at Wenger’s wage as well, he was earning more than Fergie but who was bringing home the trophies, this madness will only stop when the clown leaves

What the heck is wrong with Wenger?? I have seen wenger praising Giroud in Almost every match he failed, making up excuses, Why would any manager accompany himself with the his failure, keeping Giroud will even worsen the Mentality of our Magic midfielders we possess and they definitely don’t need Giroud and SO NO GOAL!!
